Out now on See My Friends it's "Borrowed Floors" by Lithics. This came out on vinyl through Water Wing earlier in 2016 and sold out basically immediately (repress here). Pro-dubbed cassette just in time for their West Coast tour. They've really lit up Portland lately with an incredible live set and this album is something convenient to point to when I blab about how Portland is in the middle of a DIY renaissance. As of press time they are too punk for facebook so check their tour dates on bandcamp. Flawless record with a rare knack for opaque but evocative lyrics, unforeseen double-guitar eviscerations, and the most locked in rhythm section in their milieu.
